Camp Program
Camp Jessie Bloom offers girls a fun, beautiful, and safe environment where they can gain confidence and independence to face challenges. Experienced camp staff nurture and encourage girls to Discover who they are and what they stand for; Connect with others in a diverse world; and Take Action to make the world a better place.

Camp Jessie Bloom offers a truly Interior Alaskan experience. Moose, beavers, owls, ducks, and red squirrels dot the spruce, aspen, and birch forest. Our Girl Scout camp is located at Lost Lake camp south of Fairbanks on the Richardson Highway. All girls are invited to attend. It is not necessary to be a Girl Scout.

Our resident camp is developed to meet the needs and interests of girls today. Girls swim and canoe on the lake, hike on the trails, and do all other traditional camp activities such as campfires, crafts, and cook-outs. Most of all, girls have fun and share special friendships with their fellow campers!

• Brownie Adventures: July 18 - July 24 - $325
• Junior Session 1: July 18 - July 24 - $325
• Junior Session 2: July 25 - July 31 - $325
• Survivor Camp: July 25 - July 31 - $325

Camp registration is open February 22 to May 14, 2010. Registration form and $50 non-refundable deposit due May 14. All forms and full payment due June 7, 2010.

Financial Aid for Campers – Due Friday, May 14, 2010
Farthest North Girl Scout Council strives to provide Girl Scouting opportunities to all girls. A campership fund is available for those families that need financial assistance. To apply, download and complete the Camp Jessie Bloom financial aid application (PDF, 18 KB).

A committee will meet during the week following May 14th to decide on scholarship recipients and amounts. Financial aid receipts will be notified within two weeks following the deadline.
