Thank you once again to the Fairbanks community for supporting our Women of Distinction event. It was a wonderful evening celebrating accomplished women and raising money for Girl Scout programs.

December Service Unit Meetings & Cookie Training
Cookie Sale training will be offered throughout December beginning with Service Unit trainings. Cookie Sale training is mandatory for any troop planning on selling cookies.

  • Monday, December 1 at 6pm Four-Get-Me–Not
  • Thursday, December 4  at 7pm Aurora
  • Tuesday, December 9 at 6pm Great North Star

Nut Sale Ends – Incentives will be dispersed after payment clears bank

Holiday Craft Night & Pie Bake
Girl Scouts and Troops can submit a pie to be judged at this annual event! Your pie must be submitted by 3 pm to be considered for judging. While the pies are being judged, create a fun holiday craft, sip hot cocoa and visit the Council shop for our Holiday Sale!

When: Thursday, December 11th, 6-7pm
Where: The BP Room at the Council
What to bring: Yourself (and a pie for the competition if desired)

Cookie Kick-Off Party
Girl Scouts are invited to kick-off the new cookie season in style! The party will be at the Council from 6-7pm (Daisy/Brownies) and 7:30-8:30pm (Juniors and older).

Older Girl Meet Up Group
We will be meeting at Expressions in Glass at 5:30 pm to make sun catchers. The cost is $10 per girl. Please RSVP by calling the Council Office.

Brownie Event Day
Girl Scout Brownies are invited to earn the Alaska Birds badge. This annual event will be held at here at the Girl Scout Council.  The time will be announced later, so be sure to check the Council Connection and Facebook for details! The cost will be $5 per girl and will include a badge and small snack. Please RSVP by calling the Council Office (456-4782)
